Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Billing Model
Scalekit Studio charges based on work delivered, not seats or subscription periods. You are billed for completed task output as defined in your service agreement. There are no recurring idle fees.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:
- Work not delivered: If a task was billed but the agreed output was not delivered, you are entitled to a full refund for that task.
- Quality dispute: If delivered work materially fails to meet the agreed specification, you may raise a dispute within 7 days of delivery. Disputes are reviewed by our team and resolved through a re-do, partial credit, or refund at our discretion.
- Duplicate charge: If you were charged twice for the same task, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
3. Non-Refundable Items
- Tasks that have been completed and accepted without a dispute raised within the 7-day window.
- Setup fees or onboarding costs, where applicable.
- Charges for tasks cancelled after work has begun but before delivery, unless the cancellation was requested by Scalekit Studio.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your service agreement with 30 days' written notice as outlined in the Terms of Service. Tasks in progress at the time of cancellation will be completed and billed normally. No further tasks will be initiated after the cancellation notice period begins.
Early access agreements may have specific cancellation terms defined in your individual agreement. Those terms take precedence.
5. How to Request a Refund
Raise a refund or quality dispute through the platform. Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and resolve it within 10 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after approval.
6. Governing Terms
This policy operates alongside and subject to the Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, the Terms of Service take precedence unless this policy explicitly states otherwise.
